Activity Overview

Non-informatics pharmacists who have suggestions for IT optimizations within the EHR and other healthcare software are in varied levels of involvement for the approval, build, validation, and implementation of said IT changes. Pharmacy staff may be blind to the decisions made based off their suggestions, leading to a culture of discouraging growth and EHR customizations incongruent with the health system’s pharmacy practices. This podcast will describe the planning, work and time required to implement I.T. optimization.
