Hot off the Press...New Hypertension and Dyslipidemia Guidelines: Midyear Highlights

Treatment of hypertension and dyslipidemia are two of the most common cardiovascular risk reduction strategies, and management of these risk factors is considered a standard of care. However, national guidelines that recommend standards for treatment are outdated. Participants will apply the latest information from clinical trials to patient cases to assess management options for hypertension and dyslipidemia in this application-based activity, a recording of an educational session that occurred at The Midyear 2012 in Las Vegas on December 6, 2012.
