Activity Overview

Pharmacists in the outpatient pharmacy space engage in a wide variety of activities, including patient counseling, inventory management, and medication order fulfillment. However, they are unfamiliar with AI tools that may help with tasks in their respective settings. AI is being slowly incorporated into various aspects of healthcare with little involvement of pharmacy personnel in the planning and implementation of these tools.
