Activity Overview 

This presentation will review the most recent guidelines regarding lipid management from the perspective of different professional organizations. Similarities and differences between these guidelines will be highlighted and discussed. Additionally, newer non-statin medications will be described. Lastly, patient cases will be presented to apply guideline recommendations. 

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with Commendation.

This activity was planned to meet the educational needs of pharmacists in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care settings, and the community.
