Overview

In this activity, Drs. Abel, Kullgren, and Jamielynn will compare advantages and disadvantages of continuing buprenorphine for opioid use disorder (OUD) in patients with acute pain, apply treatment strategies for continuing buprenorphine for acute pain in patients with OUD, and develop a treatment plan for managing acute pain in a patient with OUD maintained on buprenorphine.
