Activity Overview 

Pharmacists providing care for patients with depression face countless treatment options. Many patients may not respond to traditional pharmacotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. As a result, many pharmacists are unaware of and do not practice according to the most current guidelines and literary evidence. With the most current information and effective practice strategies, pharmacists can improve their treatment of patients with neuropsychiatric needs.

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with Commendation.

These activities were planned to meet the educational needs of pharmacists involved in the management of patients with treatment resistant depression (TRD).
