Activity Overview
Pharmacogenomics (PGx) is an essential component of precision medicine, yet its integration into routine pharmacy practice remains inconsistent. This webinar will feature a panel discussion with two experienced practitioners who will share real-world insights on incorporating pharmacogenomics into daily clinical workflows. Each speaker will present their individual experiences implementing PGx services, including strategies for test selection, result interpretation, and clinical application across practice settings. The session will then transition into an interactive panel discussion with audience engagement, highlighting practical approaches to overcoming common barriers such as workflow integration, provider education, reimbursement, and clinical decision support.
The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with Commendation.
This activity was planned to meet the educational needs of pharmacists practicing in health-system, ambulatory care, and other clinical settings who are interested in learning practical approaches to implementing pharmacogenomics into routine patient care.
