Activity Overview
This educational session moves beyondREMS fundamentals to focus on the operational realities of managingREMS programs within a health system. Experts will review the key steps for program implementation including team structure, contracting, access requirements, and setup across specialty pharmacy, ambulatory, and inpatient settings. The session addresses what day to day compliance actually requires, including training, medication storage, documentation, policy development, and audit readiness, along with how REMS affects prescribing, dispensing, and clinical workflow. Additional broader, system level considerations including multisite operations, contracting and data sharing, transitions of care, and telehealth will also be discussed.
