Activity Overview
Pharmacists play a key role in administering and recommending vaccines to patients that help prevent diseases, disabilities, and death. Despite increased access of vaccines, many adults in the U.S. are not up to date on their immunizations. This webinar will provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with practical updates on adult immunization recommendations for 2026, including vaccine coadministration considerations, strategies to address vaccine hesitancy, and evidence-based resources to support clinical decision-making. Participants will learn how to identify and recommend appropriate vaccinations based on patient age, risk factors, and underlying disease states to help improve vaccination rates and community health outcomes.

This activity was planned to meet the educational needs of pharmacy personnel who administer vaccinations, screen patients for vaccine appropriateness, or provide immunization-related patient care and education.
