Activity Overview
Many pharmacy residents experience impostor thoughts during residency, yet most preceptors have not been trained to recognize these challenges or respond when residents struggle with self-doubt. By developing these skills, preceptors can support residents in reducing burnout, strengthening professional identity, and building confidence in their ability to provide clinical care. This session will explore the root causes and risk factors of impostor phenomenon, describe actionable steps to abate impostor thoughts, and empower preceptors to create optimal learning environments for themselves and their learners.
