Activity Overview: With a current compassion crisis and the growth of conflicting resources, it is more important than ever to empower pharmacy residents to become compassionate providers. Institutional culture, preceptor role modeling, and embedding the patient as well as peer interactions can strategically foster compassion in pharmacy residents. Elements of program design can incorporate compassion training for residents and preceptors, fostering a holistic approach to patient care and improving wellness and resilience.
