Activity Overview
Despite advances in lipid-lowering therapy, many patients remain at high risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. This educational session will examine the evolving role of lipoprotein(a) and apolipoprotein B in risk assessment and highlight novel therapies in development that directly target lipoprotein(a). The webinar will emphasize implications for health-system pharmacists as these therapies move closer to clinical practice.
The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with Commendation.
This webinar is designed for health-system pharmacists, including those practicing in ambulatory care, cardiology, internal medicine, community pharmacy, and population health, as well as pharmacy residents involved in cardiovascular risk management and lipid therapy optimization.
