Activity Overview

As the number of hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) continues to rise, ICU clinicians are frequently faced with the unique challenges associated with managing this complex patient population. The absence of national guidelines or consensus leaves pharmacists with limited resources to guide evidence-based care in the critical care setting. This presentation will provide a concise review of the current literature, highlight clinical pearls, and offer practical strategies to support optimal management of patients with OUD in the ICU.
