Overview

The Student: Ambulatory Respiratory Infections Microcredential covers the prevention and treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis, influenza, COVID-19, and mpox along with antimicrobial stewardship in an outpatient setting, including testing considerations, applicable physical assessments, and treatment options. Upon completion of the microcredential, participants should be proficient in performing the diagnostic services associated with streptococcal pharyngitis, influenza, COVID-19, and mpox. 

The Student: Ambulatory Respiratory Infections Microcredential is intended for student pharmacists and is not eligible for ACPE credit.

Student: Ambulatory Respiratory Infections Microcredential Requirement

Once a learner has completed the educational curriculum, they will have the opportunity to complete an online comprehensive exam. Once the learner passes the exam (minimum 80% passing rate; unlimited attempts permitted), they will earn the ASHP Student: Ambulatory Respiratory Infections Microcredential and Credly badge.
