Activity Overview
This program will explore how pharmacists in both inpatient and ambulatory settings can meaningfully impact medication-related quality metrics and enhance patient care. Through case studies and practical examples, participants will learn to identify specific quality measures influenced by pharmacy practice and medication management. The session will provide strategies for developing targeted process improvement plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including quality and safety leaders. Attendees will also gain tools to effectively communicate the value of pharmacy’s contributions to quality improvement and advocate for their role in organizational performance initiatives. Ultimately, this program aims to position pharmacy as a strategic partner in driving measurable outcomes and securing the resources needed for sustained success.
