Activity Overview

Biomarkers, including Platelet Factor 4 (PF4) for HIT, have several roles for applicability, limitations, and emerging areas for use. These are important for pharmacists to know, understand, and utilize appropriately when they are caring for patients on heparin. This field has been steadily growing and would benefit from continuing education.
