Activity Overview
Pharmacists providing care to patients with chest pain are faced with evolving guidelines and evolving standards of care related to the management of acute coronary syndromes. As a result, many pharmacists are unaware of and do not practice according to the recent guideline recommendations. With an increased knowledge base pertaining to pathophysiology and pharmacologic management, pharmacists can elevate their practice strategies and improve the treatment of patients with acute coronary syndromes.
