Activity Overview
Pharmacists are primely positioned to be leaders in PGx as medication experts. Recent research suggests health care professionals (HCPs) may feel unprepared to implement PGx into clinical practice. Pharmacists must expand their knowledge of PGx and explore opportunities to facilitate practice uptake amongst other HCPs this podcast will review the role of pharmacists, discuss barriers and challenges when implementing a pharmacogenomics program and summarize best practices for incorporating pharmacists into pharmacogenomic practices.
