Overview
This self-guided, online program will provide 20.5 hours of ACPE continuing education for pharmacists, incorporating recorded presentations and case studies.
The 8 modules are designed to enhance the skills and resources for improving pharmacists’ capacity to screen and identify mental health concerns before they escalate. This includes education on mental health care, suicide screening and prevention strategies, and management of difficult situations with tactics to effectively handle disruptive behavior.
Professional Certificate Requirement
Once a learner has completed the educational curriculum, they will have the opportunity to complete an online 60 question comprehensive exam. Once the learner completes the exam (minimum 80% passing rate; unlimited attempts permitted), they will earn the professional certificate.
