Overview

ASHP has been committed to supporting the well-being and resilience of the pharmacy workforce for decades. We've been even more focused on supporting members the last few years given recent evidence and impact of burnout on patient safety and the healthcare workforce. During COVID-19, demands and stress on the pharmacy workforce have increased to an even greater extent. ASHP is planning several webinars that will give listeners tools and resources to cope during this time.

This activity will focus on:

  • Suggestions from National Academy of Medicine staff to support the health and well-being of clinicians during the COVID-19 outbreak
  • Overview of the Headspace meditation app, available as an ASHP member benefit; and
  • Resources and tools from ASHP to support well-being and resilience

Future webinars will focus on critical incident stress management and emotional and mental health support during a time of crisis.
