Overview

ASHP is committed to supporting you in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is regularly communicating updates on the crisis. In addition to opening access to select resources, ASHP is also hosting a free COVID-19 Webinar Series to provide you with experiences and perspective from front-line healthcare providers, leaders, and experts. We hope these experiences and the knowledge gained can inform your response and enhance your impact in battling the COVID-19 pandemic for your patients and your community.

The early sessions in the series cover managing patient surge, drugs, and supplies, coordinating staff, patient and family experience, COVID-19 exposure, and more.

This series is free for all to register with new events available regularly. Live participation will be limited with recordings available for all following the live event.

COVID-19 Pharmacy Response in New Jersey Community Hospital Hot Spot: Holy Name Medical Center

Activity Date: April 16, 2020

This activity describes the journey of Holy Name Medical Center, a 361-bed hospital in Teaneck, NJ. Holy Name Medical Center was one of the first hospitals to experience a massive surge of COVID-19 patients. Nancy Palamara, Pharm.D; Director of Pharmacy Services, Infusion Therapy & MS Services will share experiences and responses to this surge that will help hospitals and health systems prepare for the rapid changes and challenges facing hospitals during this pandemic.
